Phil Hellmuth won his 14th bracelet at the 2015 WSOP Razz Championship Event

Hellmuth has proven once again that he is one of the best poker players. The American won his 14th gold bracelet at the WSOP! The event took place at the Razz Championship Event, with a buy-in of $ 10,000. Phil won his first bracelet in 1989, and the last time at the Main Event of the 2012 WSOP No Limit Hold’em. He had no cashes at poker tournaments this year. Everything has changed now, in Las Vegas.

In a tournament with 103 players and a prize pool of $ 968,200, the member of „Poker Hall of Fame” managed to finish first and check a prize of $ 271,105.

Thus, Phil came to stand out in the WSOP gold bracelets top, with four more than Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan and Phil Ivey, players who have each 10 gold bracelets so far. Its objective is to reach 24 gold bracelets.

Ben Zamani Wins First Gold Bracelet and $460,640 in Event #20 of the World Series of Poker

Ben Zamani carded his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet victory Thursday, June 11, at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The win, which came in a $1,500 no-limit tournament, earned Zamani $460,640 as well as avenged a runner-up finish he carded less than a week ago in a $1,500 shootout event. With his spot in the winner’s circle cemented, Zamani now owns two cashes at the 2015 Series totaling more than $600,000 and vaulting him into Player of the Year contention.

Event #20 was the 20th of 68 bracelet events on the 2015 WSOP schedule. The tournament’s 1,844-player field (1,791 males and 53 females) marked an attendance increase of more than 15 percent year-over-year. In all, the prize pool totaled $2,489,400 and paid the top 198 players.

SAM GREENWOOD BECOMES FIRST CANADIAN GOLD BRACELET WINNER OF 2015

The Toronto-based player won the $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament, which was the 22nd gold bracelet event on this year’s schedule. Greenwood topped another huge field of 1,915 players on the way to the biggest payday and most prestigious prize of his poker career, to date.  His victory paid $318,977 out of the total prize pool of $1,723,500. In the second place was Cole Jackson, from Seattle.  This was his highest and most lucrative WSOP finish to date, worth $197,254.  The 23-year-old poker pro cashed for the second time this year, also making the money in the Millionaire Maker tourney. This marks seven series cashes since his first appearance here at the annual classic back in 2013.

On the final hand of the tournament, Greenwood got it in great, holding J-6 with a board that contained two 6s, good for three-of-a-kind.  The final table duration was around 8 hours of actual playing time.

Jeffrey Tomlinson’s victory in one of the toughest events on the entire 2015 WSOP schedule wasn’t a lightning strike so much as a four-day long hurricane out of South Florida that flooded the Rio in Las Vegas with jubilation.
Tomlinson is a 51-year old part-time poker player who is used to facing stiff competition.  He’s a football coach at Palm Beach Gardens High School. He has three daughters, all in college. So, this money comes very fortunately. This was the 25th event on the 2015 WSOP schedule, which drew 493 players.  The sizable turnout produced a prize pool totaling $2,317,100. Hellmuth a dovedit încă o dată că este unul din cei mai buni jucători de poker. Americanul a cucerit cea de-a 14-a brăţară de aur la turneele WSOP! Evenimentul a avut loc în cadrul event-ului Razz Championship cu un buy-in de 10,000$.

Phil a câştigat prima sa brăţară în 1989, iar ultima dată de la Main Event-ul No Limit Hold’em WSOP din 2012. În acest an nu mai reuşise nicio clasare în bani la turneele de poker. Totul s-a schimbat acum, în Las Vegas.

Într-un turneu cu 103 jucători şi un prizepool de 968,200$, membrul din „Poker Hall of Fame” a reuşit să termine pe primul loc şi să bifeze un premiu în valoare de 271,105$.
