The access to this tournament will rely on the first come, first served, up to 100 available spots. Called “Caelia Beach Vip Poker Tournament”, this tournament is organized by PokerFest Romania and aims to promote the game of poker among influencers, stars and socialites.
For five hours a day, this July event is bound to gather at the tables stars and celebrities who usually make headlines.
The most popular poker format, the exciting Texas Hold’em No Limit, will also be part of this VIP tournament which is set to be played in the most luxurious and exclusive complex in Romania. This tournament is also opened to a limited number of Romanian professionals to spice up the ten tables that will host this high-level competition.

Caelia Residence complex and Caelia Beach Bar & Lounge are located in downtown Mamaia resort and are the perfect gathering spot for anybody who is anybody in the Romanian highlife to the point of many VIPs not settling for renting and even purchased luxury apartments from the 65 apartments of the ca. 5,000 sqm complex with story parking, swimming pool, gazebos, luxury tents, fitness, spa and all the comforts required for such highbrows as Ilie Năstase, Victor Pițurcă, Ciprian Marica, Adrian Sârbu – to name but a few of the usual residents of this small seaside paradise. The beach next to Caelia Beach Bar & Lounge, part public, part private, was developed so as to compete with the Miami, Saint Tropez or Cancun beaches. In this dream spot will take place on 16 July the poker tournament for the most highbrow tourists alongside cash games, that are expected to be incendiary.
“Poker deserves to be promoted at all levels”, explains Sorin Constantinescu, PokerFest CEO, the man behind this initiative. ”Over the past years we managed to alter the public perception of this game. Poker is now viewed as a character builder as well as a test for one’s ability to understand the people before them – while playing, negotiating, managing a relationship of any kind or just as they are looking for fun”.
“The purpose of this exclusive event is to introduce poker to influencers, to show them that socializing is at its highest around a poker table, that relationships, friendships and even business and collaborations can be forged at the poker table”, he explained.
In its turn, director Dan Chișu, one of the invitees to this tournament and a game devotee, is taken with the idea: “At last, we are meeting face to face”, he quips in reference to the stars in the world of which he is very much liked. ”I am married to my work in cinema, but I also have one perfect lover: the poker. Here I am able to recuperate like nowhere else because poker is relaxing, but it does not make you sleepy, and I like to keep my mind clear at all times. I am looking forward to playing in this tournament. I cannot promise I will win, but I will absolutely not let others do it, either”, promised the director who has a famous name, a career and spectacular results in poker.
With a EUR 1,100 fee and a prize fund of at least EUR 100,000, this tournament will award the last 12% of the players remaining in this tournament, while the champion will receive a substantial prize in addition to their trophy. Între 16 si 19 iulie, Caelia Beach Bar & Lounge din Mamaia va găzdui Caelia Beach Vip Poker Tournament cu o taxă de intrare de 1.100 euro, competiție în care vor avea acces cele mai selecte nume din show-biz, sport, afaceri și mass-media.
Accesul în turneu va fi pe principiul primul venit – primul servit, în limita a 100 de locuri disponibile. Numit „Caelia Beach Vip Poker Tournament”, turneul este organizat de PokerFest România și este destinat promovării jocului de poker între influenceri, vedete și personalități ale vieții publice.
Evenimentul din iulie va strânge la mese, timp de cinci ore pe zi, vedete și celebrități care fac de regulă capul de afiș al știrilor mondene.
Cel mai popular format de poker, palpitantul Texas Hold’em No Limit, va fi și formatul turneului VIP care se va juca în cel mai luxos și exclusivist complex turistic din România. La turneu va participa și un număr limitat de profesioniști români, drept condiment necesar la cele zece mese ce vor găzdui această competiție la cel mai înalt nivel.

Complexul Caelia Residence și Caelia Beach Bar & Lounge din inima stațiunii Mamaia este locul de întâlnire predilect pentru cele mai cunoscute nume din high-life-ul românesc, până acolo încât multe vipuri nu s-au rezumat să închirieze, ci chiar și-au cumpărat apartamente de lux din cele 65 ale complexului de aproape 5.000 mp cu parcare etajată, piscină, foișoare, luxury tents, fitness, spa și tot confortul pretins de nume cu pretenții precum Ilie Năstase, Victor Pițurcă, Ciprian Marica, Adrian Sârbu – ca să enumerăm doar câțiva din locatarii uzuali ai micului paradis de la malul mării. Plaja aferentă, Caelia Beach Bar & Lounge, parțial publică și parțial privată, a fost amenajată încât să concureze cu plajele din Miami, Saint Tropez sau Cancun. În acest loc de vis, pentru cei mai pretențioși turiști se va desfășura din 16 iulie turneul de poker alături de jocuri de cash ce se anunță incendiare.
„Pokerul merită promovat la toate nivelurile”, explică Sorin Constantinescu, CEO-ul PokerFest, motivul acestei inițiative. „În ultimii ani am reușit să modificăm percepția publică asupra acestui joc. Acum pokerul este văzut ca un antrenor de caractere și un test pentru capacitatea de a-l înțelege pe cel din fața ta – fie că joci, negociezi, gestionezi o relație de orice fel sau doar vrei să te distrezi”.
„Scopul acestui eveniment exclusivist este să facem cunoștință influencerilor cu jocul de poker, să le arătăm că la o masă de poker se socializează mai intens decât oriunde, se stabilesc relații, prietenii și chiar se pot încheia afaceri sau colaborări”, explică el.
La rândul său, regizorul Dan Chișu, unul din cei invitați la turneu și îndrăgostit de acest joc, se arată cucerit de idee: „În sfârșit, ne întâlnim față în față”, glumește el la adresa vedetelor în lumea cărora este foarte simpatizat. „Eu sunt căsătorit cu munca mea în cinematografie, însă am și o amantă perfectă: pokerul. Aici mă recuperez ca nicăieri, căci pokerul te relaxează fără să te adoarmă, iar mie îmi place să fiu mereu cu mintea limpede. Abia aștept să joc turneul. Nu promit că îl voi câștiga, dar e sigur că îi voi impiedica pe alții să o facă”, promite regizorul care are un nume cunoscut, o carieră și rezultate spectaculoase în poker.
Cu o taxă de intrare de 1.100 euro și un fond de premii de cel puțin 100.000 euro, turneul va premia ultimii 12% jucători rămași în turneu, campionul urmând să primească, alături de trofeu, și un premiu substanțial. Evenimentul are număr limitat de locuri, iar cei dornici să participe sunt sfătuiți de organizatori să eze PokerFest sau complexul Caelia înainte de epuizarea locurilor disponibile.
