PokerStars Qualifier Martin Meciar became Slovakia’s first ever Eureka champion after beating a 493-player field in Rozvadov to scoop €87,600. The original first prize was six thousands more but Meciar made a heads up deal with Michael-David

y and then it took him only couple of hands to eliminate his last opponent and seize even €10,000 left for the winner.

It is Meciar’s best result in his poker carreer, he perfectely used the advantage of starting the final table as a chip leader. Michael-David y earned €65,000 for a 2nd place finish while the last woman in the tournament, Beatrix Wolfsberger, ended 3rd for €42,300.

We saw EPT7 Vienna champion Michael Eiler falling in 7th place being knocked out by Sascha Ranzinger who started the final table well as he bust out Dawid Mysiewicz in 8th place as well. Ranzinger and Meciar were the only players who scored KO’s at the final table (Meciar 4 and Ranzinger 3).

Premiul inițial era cu șase mii mai mare, dar Meciar a făcut o înțelegere la heads-up cu Michael-David y, iar la numai câteva mâini mai târziu acesta și-a eliminat oponentul și a adjudecat și cei 10.000€ rămași pentru câștigător.

Acesta este cel mai bun rezultat înregistrat de  Meciar în cariera sa de jucător de poker de până acum, el folosind perfect avantajul de a începe masa finală ca lider la jetoane. Michael-David y a câștigat 65.000€ pentru locul 2, în timp ce ultima femeie rămasă în turneu, Beatrix Wolfsberger, a terminat pe locul 3 cu 42.300€.

Am văzut cum campionul de la EPT 7 Vienna, Michael Eiler, a ieșit pe locul 7, fiind eliminat de Sascha Ranzinger care a început bine masa finală, eliminându-l și pe Dawid Mysiewicz pe locul 8. Ranzinger și Meciar sunt singurii jucători care au reușit eliminări la masa finală.
