The young and beautiful Holly left her home county Nevada for Los Angeles to study theater and psychology, when she was 20 years old. Already equipped with some strong knowledge acquired in the State University of Portland, she knew that dreams came true in California. To herself, she waited tables in the famous Hooters restaurant, and tried her luck as a model for a sun screen producer. Most likely, it is then when her lucky star came out because she got noticed, and was invited to the Playboy Manson, the famous mansion of Hugh Hefner, where she eventually and formally moved in back in 2001 as official girlfriend of the captain of the boat of pleasure, together with seven other girls.

Holly made it to the cover and the inside of the men’s magazine in November 2005, in a special shoot, together with Bridget Marquadt and Kendra Wilkinson. In fact, this is how she got promoted to the series The Girls Next Door, a TV production that for five seasons, between 2005 and 2010, presented the mansion life of the Playboy founder. The three made the cover of the famous magazine three more times, in September 2006, March 2008, and February 2009.

A declared animal lover, Holly started writing articles about the dumb companions back in 2006 for a friend’s magazine, and in April 2007 she posed nude for a PETA anti-fur campaign.

Holly’s life in Las Vegas started in 2009, after she left the series The Girls Next Door, and a less fortunate experience in the TV show Dancing With The Stars, where the got injured and voted out by the public, together with her partner Dmitr Chaplin. Side by side with the Mayor of Vegas, Oscar Goodman, she led the biggest bikini parade in history (at that time) which entered the Guiness Book of Records for its 281 participants (breaking down the previous record of 250 participants).

In fact, Holly leading the event of Vegas was just the first chapter of almost four years of success on the stage of the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, in the burlesque Peepshow. Girls were only employed under a 3-month contract to keep the show fresh, and Holly was to replace another ex-Playboy model, Kelly Monaco. But the success of the show eventually got her a permanent contract, after two renewals. She even had two roles, first as Bo Peep, where she showed her charms, and then as Goldilocks. And the story could have gone on if Holly didn’t get pregnant, and have to leave the show.

Her successful appearance on this stage of Las Vegas determined producers to put together an entire reality-show just around her, but shortly after, because of her previous experience with The Girls Next Door, she was co-opted as co-producer, too.

In July 2015, she launched her first memory book “Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny”, where she recalls her experience in the residence of Hugh Hefner. This was followed, one year later, by a second book: “The Vegas Diaries: The Vegas Diaries : Romance, Rolling the Dice, and the Road to Reinvention”, where she tells her story of Vegas, and lets us in her love life. The first book made to the 1st place in the New York Times Bestseller and stayed there for three weeks, and then remained on the list for three more months. Her second book was another bestseller.

In 2002, barely a year since she had moved in with Hefner, Holly became the number 1 girl in the famous house, after two of the girlfriends had left the mansion. The two were so close that Holly ended up declaring that she would like to marry the tycoon and have children with him. In fact, Hefner too itted in an interview taken during the Playmate of the Year Awards of 2008 that “I love Holly very much and I think we’re going to be together the rest of my life, but marriage isn’t part of my puzzle. Urmată, un an mai târziu, de un al doilea volum, “Jurnal din Vegas: romantism, aruncând zarurile și drumul spre reinventare” în care își povestește  viața în Las Vegas, dar și viața amoroasă. Prima carte a debutat pe locul 1 în New York Times Bestseller și s-a menținut în top timp de trei săptămâni, iar pe listă vreme de trei luni. Și a doua carte a fost un real succes, intrând direct în topul bestseller.

A povestit deschis că și-a întreținut frumusețea cu operații estetice, că a recurs la rinoplastie și la operații de mărire a sânilor, ulterior asigurându-i pentru suma de 1 milion de dolari.

În august 2012 a anunțat că ea și Pasquale Rotella, cu care se întâlnea de mai bine de un an, așteaptă un copil și pune capăt aparițiilor pe scena Planet Hollywood. Pe 5 martie 2013 a adus-o pe lume pe Rainbow Aurora Rotella, iar jumătate de an mai târziu s-a căsătorit la Disneyland cu Pasquale, iar domnișoară de onoare i-a fost colega Bridget Marquardt.
