On May 19th took place at Hotel Novotel, Paris Rive Gauche Hall, Bucharest, the second edition of the event Practice in responsible gaming, event organized by our magazine – Casino Inside and ed by the „Joc Responsabil” Program, successfully implemented within thousands of game rooms by the of associations Romanian Bookmakers – The Patronage of Romanian Betting Organizers and Romslot – the Association of Slots Organizers.

And this time we have continued to approach an address a topical issue in Romanian gaming: The Responsible Gaming and the fact that the gaming operators, whether land based or online, must obtain profit from this business, taking into the social responsibility that they must have towards their clients.

We divided the debate into two main parts: The Practice in Land based Responsible Gaming and the Online Practice in Responsible Gaming.

After the introduction made by Dan Bernovici, Managing Partner Casino Inside, the event has continued with the speech of Viorela Rădoi Managing Director Romslot , named „About the program, statistics and examples of best practice at European level”.

Then, Odeta Nestor President of the National Gaming Office pointed in her speeches several important issues about the daily realities of the topics from the perspective of her reign, namely:

„The operators need to be more involved in the establishment of the Foundation. And the role of the associations is to make understand their how much it matters to them, as operators, these social responsibility projects that fight not only for their business but also for our children’s future. ”

In addition „In the gaming associations, together with operators and the authorities must focus on education and information programs in the field of responsible gaming, focusing on the younger generation.”

Mrs. Nestor continued to answer the questions of the audience and of those coming from the organizer, Casino Inside, managing to give us a full image of the perspective of authorities on the responsible gaming.

At the end of the first part Dr. Cristian Andrei conducted an interactive exercise of experiential awareness with those present in the audience.

The second part of the event was dedicated to online responsible gaming, and the first presentation of this was of   Dr. in Psychology Steliana Rizeanu and   Dr. in Psychology Leliana Pârvulescu who came with practical advice and practical examples on the „Identification and approaching of persons with gaming problems”.

With the legalization of online gaming operation in our country, it became of paramount importance to introduce these operators within the general concerns of the market related to responsible gaming. This market segment has its own characteristic: mainly young players, accustomed to the virtual environment, but maybe not so ready to face the temptations to escalate the game to a dark zone.  Our role, at this event is to attire as many online operators in our activity to protect the players, especially since we talk about the fact that most practitioners of online fun are young people between 18 and 35 years old.  The specificity of the field makes the virtual area to be hard to control (at least compared to landbase) and monitor in relation to the issue of verification of the age for playing and of the possibility of some unwanted sliding towards pathological gaming area.

To answer all these questions Mrs. Dr. in Psychology Leliana Pârvulescu performed an exceptional presentation on „Features of the online responsible gaming”,

At the end of the event the Executive Manager of Romanian Bookmakers Doru Gheorghiu, made a presentation about the future of the program „Joc Responsabil” and showed that this program will not disappear, even if the appearance of the Foundation is imminent, but on the contrary it will develop further, showing that in the relation between Joc Responsabil and the Foundation, the first will provide the know-how, the implementation of projects in partnership and other services to the players.

PRACTICE IN RESPONSIBLE GAMING 2 continued to respond to our wish to offer to the participants of the event, the tools for a real involvement in Responsible Gaming.

Our event has shown that the protection of players from the danger of pathological game remains a priority for most operators and especially for those who have chosen the path „responsible profit”.

The second edition of the event PRACTICE IN RESPONSIBLE GAMING has represented a strong signal by which the gaming industry in Romania has shown that it is still interested in providing a fun friendly environment and not vice.

Și de această dată am continuat să abordăm o temă de actualitate în gamblingul din România: Jocul Responsabil și faptul că operatorii de jocuri de noroc, fie ei landbased sau online, trebuie să obțină profit din această afacere ținând cont de responsabilitatea socială ce trebuie să o aibă față de clienții lor.

Am împărțit dezbaterea în două părți principale: Practica în Jocul Responsabil Landbased și Practica în Jocul Responsabil Online.

După Cuvântul de Deschidere rostit de Dan Bernovici, Managing Partner Casino Inside, evenimentul a continuat cu discursul rostit de Directorul Executiv Romslot, Viorela Rădoi, numit “Despre program, statistici și exemple de bune practici la nivel European”.

Apoi, Președintele Oficiului Național pentru Jocuri de Noroc, Odeta Nestor, a punctat în intervențiile sale câteva aspecte importante despre realitățile la zi ale tematicii din perspectiva domniei sale, și anume:

”Operatorii trebuie să se implice mai mult în înființarea Fundației. Iar rolul asociațiilor este să îi facă să înțeleagă pe membrii lor cât de mult contează pentru ei, ca operatori, aceste proiecte de responsabilitate socială, care luptă nu numai pentru businessul lor, ci și pentru viitorul copiilor noștri”.

În plus, „Asociațiile din domeniul gamblingului, împreună cu operatorii și cu autoritățile, trebuie să se concentreze pe programe de educare și informare în domeniul jocului responsabil, cu accent pe tânăra generație”.

Doamna Nestor a continuat să răspundă întrebărilor din sală și celor venite din partea organizatorului, Casino Inside, reușind să ne ofere o imagine completă asupra perspectivei autorităților privind jocul responsabil.

La finalul primei părți Dr. Cristian Andrei a realizat un exercițiu interactiv de conștientizare experiențială cu cei prezenți în auditoriu.

Partea a doua a evenimentului a fost dedicată jocului responsabil din online, iar prima prezentare din acest a fost a doamnelor Dr. Psiholog Steliana Rizeanu și Dr. Psiholog Leliana Pârvulescu care au venit cu sfaturi practice și exemple concrete privind “Identificarea şi abordarea persoanelor cu probleme de jocuri de noroc”.

Odată cu legalizarea operării jocurilor de noroc online pe teritoriul țării noastre, a devenit de o importanță capitală introducerea acestor operatori în cadrul preocupărilor generale ale pieței legate de jocul responsabil. Acest segment de piață are și o caracteristică proprie: jucători cu preponderență tineri, obișnuiți cu mediul virtual, dar poate nu așa de pregătiți în fața tentațiilor de excaladare a jocului către o zonă nefericită. Rolul nostru, cu ocazia acestui eveniment, a fost să atragem cât mai mulți operatori online în acțiunea noastră de protejare a jucătorilor, mai ales că vorbim de faptul că majoritatea practicanților de distracție online sunt tineri cu vârste cuprinse între 18 și 35 de ani. Specificitatea domeniului face ca zona virtuală să fie foarte greu de controlat (cel puțin în raport cu landbased-ul) și de monitorizat în raport cu problematica verificării vârstei de joc și a posibilității unora de alunecare nedorită spre zona de joc patologic.

Pentru a răspunde la toate aceste întrebări Dna Dr. Psiholog Leliana Pârvulescu a realizat o prezentare excepțională referitoare la “Caracteristicile jocului responsabil în online”.

La finalul evenimentului Directorul Executiv al lui Romanian Bookmakers, Doru Gheorghiu, a efectuat o prezentare legată de viitorul programului Joc Responsabil și a arătat că acest program nu va dispare, chiar dacă apariția Fundației este iminentă, ci din contră se va dezvolta în continuare, arâtând că în relația dintre Joc Responsabil și Fundație cei dintâi vor putea oferi know-how, implementare de proiecte în parteneriat și alte servicii către jucători.

PRACTICA ÎN JOCUL RESPONSABIL 2 a continuat să răspundă dorinței noastre de a oferii participanților la eveniment instrumentele pentru o reală implicare în Jocul Responsabil.

Evenimentul nostru a arătat că protejarea jucătorilor față de pericolul jocului patologic continuă să rămână o prioritate pentru majoritatea operatorilor și mai ales pentru cei care au ales calea “profitului responsabil”.

Ediția a doua a evenimentului PRACTICA ÎN JOCUL RESPONSABIL a reprezentat un semnal puternic prin care industria jocurilor de noroc din România a demonstrat că este interesată în continuare să ofere un mediu prielnic distracției și nu viciului.
