We are very pleased to inform you that on May 19th, at Hotel Novotel, Paris Rive Gauche Hall, Bucharest, we will continue, for the second consecutive year, to address a topical issue for gambling in Romania: Responsible Gambling. The debates will be channeled mainly into two ways: online and offline. We will continue to find out which are the practical tools for a real involvement of the operators in responsible gaming and also we will seek to find out with what was enriched our industry’s experience during the year that has ed since the first edition of our event.
For this we continue our partnership with the “Joc Responsabil” Program, successfully implemented within thousands of game rooms by the of associations Romanian Bookmakers – The Patronage of Romanian Betting Organizers and Romslot – the Association of Slots Organizers.
Motivation
As usual, the thing that motivated us to continue to organize this kind of event is our desire to improve the gambling industry in Romania, but also our intention to turn this event into an annual tradition.
The 2nd Edition of PRACTICE IN RESPONSIBLE GAMING will continue to respond to our desire to give to the participants in the event the tools for a real involvement in Responsible Gaming.
Regardless of which area of gambling are you coming from, whether you are live casino operators, gaming halls and sports betting operators, you should be interested in this important aspect of your business. Protecting players from the danger of pathological game should remain a priority for all operators. Entertainment customers should come to the gaming rooms to have fun not to get a form of addiction.
The very continuation of the second edition of our event is a signal that the gaming industry in Romania further proves that is interested in providing an environment of fun and not vice.
With the legalization of online gambling operation in our country, we believe it is of paramount importance to introduce our concerns related to responsible gaming to these operators. This market segment has its own characteristic: mainly young players, accustomed to the virtual environment, but maybe not so ready to face the temptations to escalate the game to a dark zone. Our role, at this event is to draw and as many online operators in our activity to protect the players, especially since, again, we mention the fact that most practitioners of online fun are young people between 18 and 35 years old. The specificity of the virtual area makes it hard to control (at least compared to the offline) and monitor in relation to the issue of verification of the age for playing and of the possibility of some unwanted sliding towards pathological gaming area.
We remind you that there are still all sorts of legislative initiatives or simply actions and petitions of all sorts, initiated almost by anyone who wants to restrict or close the gambling market in Romania using the sympathy of the public, least educated in the matter, for populism. All these intimidation actions are motivated by addiction / ludomania. Anytime, such an action can occur at high levels of political audience and without notice. The gaming industry in our country must continue to remain receptive to this problem and approach this matter with a preventive attitude. Industry must remain cautious, pro-active.

Ne face o deosebită plăcere să vă informăm că în data de 19 Mai la Hotelul Novotel, Sala Paris Rive Gauche din București vom continua, pentru al doilea an consecutiv, să abordăm o temă de actualitate în gamblingul din România: Jocul Responsabil. Dezbaterile vor fi canalizate în principal către două direcții: offline și online. În continuare vom continua să aflăm care sunt instrumentele practice pentru o reală implicare a operatorilor în domeniul jocului responsabil și, de asemenea, vom căuta să aflăm cu ce s-a îmbogățit experiența industriei noastre în acest an care a trecut de la prima ediție a evenimentului nostru.
Pentru acest lucru avem în continuare ca partener Programul Joc Responsabil, implementat cu succes în mii de săli de joc de membrii asociațiilor Romanian Bookmakers – Patronatul Organizatorilor de Pariuri din România și Romslot – Asociația Organizatorilor de Sloturi.
Motivație
Ca de obicei, lucrul care ne-a motivat să continuăm să organizăm genul acesta de evenimente este dorința noastră de a face bine industriei de gambling din România, dar și intenția noastră de a transforma acest eveniment într-o tradiție anuală.
PRACTICA ÎN JOCUL RESPONSABIL 2 va continua să răspundă dorinței noastre de a oferii participanților la eveniment instrumentele pentru o reală implicare în Jocul Responsabil.
Indiferent din ce zonă a gamblingului proveniți, fie că sunteți operatori de cazinouri live, de săli de joc sau operatori de pariuri sportive trebuie să fiți interesați de acest aspect important al activității dumneavoastră. Protejarea jucătorilor față de pericolul jocului patologic ar trebui să rămână o prioritate pentru toți operatorii. Clienții de entertainment ar trebui să vină în sălile de joc să se distreze nu să capete o formă de dependență
Însăși continuarea evenimentului nostru cu ediția a doua reprezintă un semnal prin care industria jocurilor de noroc din România demonstrează că este interesată în continuare să ofere un mediu prielnic distracției și nu viciului.
Odată cu legalizarea operării jocurilor de noroc online pe teritoriul țării noastre, credem că devine de o importanță capitală introducerea acestor operatori în cadrul preocupărilor noastre legate de jocul responsabil. Acest segment de piață are și o caracteristică proprie: jucători cu preponderență tineri, obișnuiți cu mediul virtual, dar poate nu așa de pregătiți în fața tentațiilor de excaladare a jocului către o zonă nefericită. Rolul nostru, cu ocazia acestui eveniment, este să atragem și cât mai mulți operatori online în acțiunea noastră de protejare a jucătorilor, mai ales că, repet, vorbim de faptul că majoritatea practicanților de distracție online sunt tineri cu vârste cuprinse între 18 și 35 de ani. Specificitatea domeniului face ca zona virtuală să fie foarte greu de controlat (cel puțin în raport cu offline-ul) și de monitorizat în raport cu problematica verificării vârstei de joc și a posibilității unora de alunecare nedorită spre zona de joc patologic.
Vă reamintim că în continuare există tot felul de inițiative legislative sau pur și simplu acțiuni și petiții de tot felul, inițiate de aproape oricine dorește să îngrădească sau să închidă piața jocurilor de noroc din România folosindu-se de apetența publicului, puțin educat în materie, pentru populism. Toate aceste acțiuni de intimidare au ca motivație adicția / ludomania. Oricând, o astfel de acțiune se poate petrece la un nivel ridicat de audiență politică și fără preaviz. În continuare industria jocurilor de noroc de la noi din țară trebuie să rămână receptivă la acest gen de probleme și să abordeze o atitudine profilactică în această chestiune. Industria trebuie să rămână prevăzătoare, pro-activă.
